With Maya around I try to recreate some of my favourite memories growing up that remind me of my culture – and Filipinos love eating bibingka during the Christmas season.
Bibingka is a cute little bun made of rice flour and baked in banana leaves.
This was my first time making bibingka. I combined a few recipes based on the ingredients I had at home and the time I had to prepare it. See my recipe below.
