Getting the help you need during pregnancy

I feel so lucky to be loved and supported by my husband.

And yes, I also feel crazy knowing that just last week I questioned our security.

Feeling alone at a time where you are juggling  dependents and keeping your body alive is challenging.

Depression during pregnancy is serious. So of course I made a doctors appointment. While I value natural alternatives before medication I see the life changing nature of certain prescriptions.

My blood work showed I’m iron deficient which my doctor explained results in fatigue and lightheadedness – especially during pregnancy.

This doesn’t negate the feelings I felt and the issues that arose but it really goes to show the insane ride women go through during pregnancy.

Feeling burnt out extreme fatigue can lead to worse conditions during pregnancy and it’s best to consult your health practitioner for help.

I’ve received so many messages from mamas describing their journeys during the 9 months and postpartum and I’m determined that women are so undervalued in this society.

So in your mind it may look like I’m over sharing but I’m really just sharing one experience from a real mom. And all we really want is a healthy baby and optimal experience getting there.
